Now On Sale
At Soaring Eagle, we try
to have low prices everyday.
From time to time, however, we
become “overstocked” with certain
items, or we temporarily
lower prices on some material
to offer better deals to our customers.
We compile these
“sales” and “specials” on a
monthly basis and email them
to our clients. We want to make
sure that you don’t miss out! If
you aren’t receiving these
monthly emails, send us your
email address. Email us at
info@soaringeaglenursery.
com or visit our Web site,
www.soaringeaglenursery.
com where we will list
everything that is on sale.
See Us At The Landscape Show
Once again,
we’ll be exhibiting
at The Landscape
Show in Orlando,
FL, October 1-3.
With a load of educational opportunities,
new
plants, new products,
and a slew of
vendors, this show
shouldn’t be
missed. Visit us in Booth 837.
Don’t Grab The Tree By The "Reins"
On some feather palm
species, you will occasionally
observe long,
narrow strips of
green tissue
hanging down
like long shoe
strings from the
leaves. These
appendages are
called reins, and
they were originally
connective
tissue attached
along the edges
of the leaflets
when they were
folded in the unopened spear
leaf. As the spear opens, this
strip of extraneous
tissue usually
falls off,
but occasionally
remains attached
to one of
the leaflets on
young leaves.
